Welcome to East Hertsmere 14-19 Consortium
East Hertsmere Consortium is comprised of four schools local to Potters Bar and Borehamwood: These are Chancellor's, Dame Alice Owen's, Hertswood and Mount Grace.
The schools work together in order to offer young people in the area the widest possible range of courses, particularly at Post-16 level.
Two of the schools - Mount Grace and Chancellor's - have aligned their Year 12 and 13 timetables. This enables young people to study at both schools at the same time and therefore have a wider choice of subjects from which to choose.
The consortium also has links with local colleges, Oaklands and Barnet, and this enables students from Year 10 and upwards to study courses not available in the schools. On top of this, there are also courses in the Welwyn-Hatfield consortium, which are currently being accessed by East Hertsmere students.
Free transport is provided during the school day to allow students to travel between schools and the colleges.
The Consortium is developing according to need, putting the achievement opportunities of young people at the heart of what we do. Should you have any questions about the consortium, please feel free to contact us.
